Things to consider

Planning a landscaping project?

Before you order, it helps to think about the size of the job, access for delivery, the materials you need and whether any products need to be collected from a specific branch. Send us what you know and we’ll help fill in the gaps.

Measure the area

For gravel, sand, sub-base or decorative stone, try to measure the length, width and depth of the area. A rough sketch or photo is fine if you are unsure.

Think about access

Let us know if delivery access is tight, if there are steps, narrow lanes, parked cars or if the materials need to be dropped in a specific place.

Choose the finish

Decorative aggregates, timber, sleepers and fencing can change the look of the job. If you have a style in mind, send a photo or example and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Check the base

Many landscaping jobs need preparation materials such as MOT type 1, ballast, sharp sand, cement, membrane or edging before the visible finish goes down.
